About Us

Supertex was founded in 1978 by Brian Boocock. Brian had a successful career in the yarn industry and with his knowledge of the carpet market decided to venture into wholesale distribution.

From our foundation in Golborne near Warrington the company quickly expanded to larger premises in Leyland, Lancashire where we are currently operating from 3 warehouses on the site that was famous for building trucks and Centurion tanks (hence the address being Centurion Way.).

Still family owned Supertex prides itself on its independent status and its close relationship with both suppliers and customers.
